Dr Jessa Rogers GAICD CF is a Wiradjuri researcher currently based at the Digital Media Research Centre, QUT. Jessa’s ARC fellowship explores the experiences of Indigenous boarding school graduates, using photoyarn, and Indigenous digital media methodology she developed. Jessa co-leads the “Connecting in the Gulf: Digital Inclusion for Aboriginal Families on Mornington Island” project and the Department of Social Services commissioned “Longitudinal Study on Indigenous Children Primary School Report” study at QUT.

Jessa is an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Culture, History and Language at ANU, and serves on a number of boards and committees including Wesley Mission Queensland, the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, the board of St Philip’s College Alice Springs and the ACCAN First Nations Steering Committee. Jessa is a Fulbright scholar (Harvard University) and a Churchill Fellow.
