AUTOMATED SOCIETIES

Automated technologies can contribute to or undermine human and planetary health. The 2026 ADM+S Symposium focused on current research from across the Centre that seeks to better understand the complex interconnections between automated systems and the health of people and the ecosystems of which we are part.

The symposium showcased the Centre’s interdisciplinary research in the Health Focus Area at the intersection of humanities, social sciences and technology, exploring the complex relationships between technology, human and planetary wellbeing.
