Jenny Kennedy is a research fellow in Media and Communication at RMIT University, Melbourne.

Jenny’s projects currently focus on digital inclusion of low-income households, and the gendering of AI and automation in home environments.

Jenny’s most recent publications are Digital Domesticity: Media, Materiality and Home Life (Oxford University Press) and The Smart Wife (MIT Press).

She presently holds an ARC Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) fellowship and is a core member of the Digital Ethnography Research Centre (DERC).
